Terms & Conditions
1. Identity and contact details
The cvalue.pt website is operated by C-Value Create Value — Corporate Finance and Business Consulting, Lda., Portuguese corporate taxpayer number 516430076 (“C-Value”). Contact details: incentivos@cvalue.pt, +351 919 900 490, Av. Fernão de Magalhães, 153, 2nd Floor, Office 5, 3000-176 Coimbra, Portugal.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern access to the website, use of its content and online purchases of services offered in the store. By using the website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the applicable policies.
Any written proposal, contract, statement of work or specific conditions agreed for a service prevail over these Terms in the event of conflict.
3. Website information
Website content is general information only. It does not replace tax, financial, legal, accounting or technical analysis tailored to your circumstances and does not, by itself, constitute advice or a contractual offer.
We seek to keep information accurate and current, but calls, incentive programmes, tax benefits, deadlines, rates and eligibility criteria may be changed by the competent bodies. Eligibility and the outcome of any application depend on the applicable rules and the relevant bodies’ decisions.
4. Services and orders
The essential features, scope and price of each service are shown on its page. Before paying, the customer must confirm that the service meets their needs and provide complete, accurate and current information.
Displaying a service in the store does not guarantee immediate availability or the approval of any application, incentive, benefit, funding or third-party decision. An order becomes binding once payment is confirmed and confirmation is sent to the customer, subject to any additional validation required for legal, technical or fraud-prevention reasons.
C-Value may reject or cancel an order before work starts in the event of an obvious price or description error, unavailability, reasonable suspicion of fraud, legal or technical impossibility, or missing required information. If payment has already been collected and the service cannot be provided, the amount due will be refunded using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
5. Prices, VAT, payment and invoicing
Store prices are subject to VAT at the statutory rate in force, currently 23%. The net amount, VAT and total are identified before payment is completed.
Online payments are processed by Stripe. C-Value does not receive or store full card details. Performance of the service is conditional on payment confirmation.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate billing details. The invoice or tax document is issued in accordance with applicable law and sent through the channels indicated during the purchase process.
6. Performance and customer cooperation
The timetable, deliverables and delivery method follow the service description and, where applicable, the confirmation or proposal sent to the customer. Dates dependent on information, documents, validation or third-party decisions are estimates and may be adjusted.
The customer must cooperate promptly, provide truthful and complete information, review documents and decisions submitted to them, and ensure they are entitled to provide the data and materials used. Customer delays or omissions may suspend deadlines and affect the service outcome.
7. Right of withdrawal
Where the customer is a consumer and consumer law applies, they generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason by sending an unequivocal statement to incentivos@cvalue.pt.
If the consumer expressly asks for performance to begin during that period and later withdraws, they may have to pay a proportionate amount for services already provided. The right may be lost once the service is fully performed where performance began with the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgement that the right would be lost, as provided by law.
These rules do not apply to customers contracting exclusively for professional purposes where they do not legally qualify as consumers, and do not affect any other mandatory rights.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Outside the statutory right of withdrawal and other mandatory legal rights, cancellation, amendment and refund requests are assessed in light of work already completed, costs incurred and the service-specific conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to the customer by mandatory law.
9. Liability
C-Value performs its services with professional care and skill but does not guarantee approval of applications, the award or continuation of incentives or benefits, access to funding, specific savings, or favourable decisions by public bodies, financial institutions or other third parties.
To the extent permitted by law, C-Value is not liable for losses caused by inaccurate, incomplete or late information supplied by the customer, legislative or regulatory changes, third-party platform outages, authority decisions, or use of general website content without tailored advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The website’s text, trademarks, logos, graphics, photographs, structure and other content belong to C-Value or are used with permission and are protected by applicable law. Personal viewing and strictly private reproduction are permitted; commercial use, modification, distribution or publication requires prior written consent.
You must not use the website unlawfully, attempt to access unauthorised areas or data, disrupt its operation, introduce malicious code, carry out abusive automated collection, or infringe third-party rights.
11. Third-party links and services
The website may link to or integrate third-party services, including Stripe and Google Maps. Those services are governed by their providers’ terms and policies. C-Value does not control and is not responsible for third-party content or practices, without prejudice to C-Value’s own statutory duties.
12. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy. These form part of the information applicable to website use and contracting.
13. Complaints and disputes
You may submit a complaint to incentivos@cvalue.pt or through the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
Where legally applicable, consumers may use the competent consumer alternative dispute resolution body. Current information on recognised bodies is available through the Portuguese Consumer Portal at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes arising from website use or contracting are subject to the Portuguese courts determined by law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules and applicable alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
15. Changes
C-Value may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The applicable version is the one published on the website when it is used or an order is placed, without prejudice to any specific written conditions agreed with the customer.
