1. Data controller

C-Value Create Value — Corporate Finance and Business Consulting, Lda., Portuguese corporate taxpayer number 516430076 (“C-Value”), is the controller of personal data processed through cvalue.pt.

You may contact us at incentivos@cvalue.pt, by telephone on +351 919 900 490, or by post at Av. Fernão de Magalhães, 153, 2nd Floor, Office 5, 3000-176 Coimbra, Portugal.

2. Personal data we process

When you use a contact form or request a meeting, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, subject, message, language and the technical data strictly required to receive, protect and manage your request.

When you purchase a service from the store, we process identification and contact details, the selected service, order amounts (including VAT), transaction status and identifiers, and the information required for invoicing and fulfilment. Full card details are processed directly by Stripe and are not received or stored by C-Value.

The website may also process IP address, date and time, requested pages or resources, device and browser information, and technical security logs. Cookie preferences are stored on your device.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to answer enquiries and meeting requests on the basis of pre-contractual steps requested by you and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in managing professional communications.

We process customer data to enter into and perform contracts, process orders, payments and invoices, provide support and deliver purchased services. We also retain information required to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud and respond to competent authorities.

We process technical logs to ensure website availability and security, prevent misuse and investigate incidents, on the basis of our legitimate interests and applicable security obligations.

Google Maps and any analytics or marketing tools are loaded only after you consent. You may withdraw or change that consent at any time through “Manage Preferences”, without affecting prior lawful processing.

4. Recipients and service providers

Data may be accessed by authorised C-Value staff and contractors and shared, only where necessary, with providers of website hosting and maintenance, email, accounting and invoicing, technical support, fraud prevention and professional advice.

For online payments, the data required for the transaction is disclosed to Stripe, which processes payment information under its own privacy policy. If you authorise the map, Google may receive technical data and set cookies under its own policies.

We may also disclose data to public authorities, courts or other parties where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we seek to ensure that the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, together with any required supplementary measures.

6. Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as required to answer and manage the relationship and are reviewed and deleted when no longer needed, without prejudice to retention required to evidence communications, exercise rights or comply with legal obligations.

Order, contract, payment and invoicing data are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the applicable statutory periods, including tax and accounting periods. Technical and security logs are kept only for as long as required for security and diagnostic purposes, unless an investigation or legal duty requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent. These rights may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

To exercise your rights, email incentivos@cvalue.pt and clearly describe your request. We may request information strictly necessary to verify your identity. We will reply within the statutory time limits.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados — CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

8. Cookies and third-party services

For information about essential cookies, preferences, Google Maps and any measurement tools, please see the Cookie Policy. Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from using the website’s essential features.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. No system is completely secure; if you identify a vulnerability or incident, please contact us immediately.

10. Updates
